Hi all, while the ice and snow is nowhere close to melting, it’s never too early to consider a fully guided bass fishing trip on the inland waters of Northern Wisconsin. Join me on another new season in pursuit of trophy Wisconsin bass 2020, beginning as soon as the second weekend in May.
Winter and ice came early again this year! I remember when open water fishing deep into the month of November was once possible and comfortable to do. We’ve endured brutal fall seasons and rapid cold conclusions these last two years.
Fall season 2019 has treated us very well. September from mid to end of month was excellent most days, and now in early October the fishing is getting better! Good bites will continue through the end of month, and my season will conclude then. I’m off the water now until October 20th.

My 2018 fishing season in Wisconsin concluded on 10/31, and I’m back down south now in IL coping with the winter months and desk work season. While some fish are still out there to be caught for the next week (maybe?), winter is now making its early arrival.
